Foundation may cover redness caused by blemishes, but it can’t cover the nasty bump like texture milia gives to the skin. If you think you have milia but you aren’t 100% sure, feel free to send a clear picture of your skin via messenger. I’m more than happy to advise!

Chemical peels, microdermabrasion or microneedling, (we offer all of these at AV Medispa) but no such treatment will get rid of milia. For milia to be removed effectively it must be lanced which requires the clinic carrying out this treatment to have a LICENSE, therefore there aren’t a lot of clinics that can do this. Thank goodness it was the best case scenario and she has got the all clear! Using 6 products for her homecare and visiting every 8-10 weeks for various @alumiermduk chemical peel treatments we are on the road to getting her skin right where she wants it to be. During her initial consultation this young lady, her mum and I had a conversation and I gave them an understanding of what a skin programme entails to get results like this. It takes TIME, and I’m sure she couldn’t be happier with how it’s gone so far. There hasn’t been any major downtime, and each skin treatment has costed around £100. If you are struggling with your skin please please get in touch. Even if you’ve ‘been to the doctors’. They don’t have the equipment, products, and many other things to treat the skin like we do. They have a strict list of 4 different medications (in order!) which they have to follow and prescribe before anything else.
